Arc & Art

Interior Design Studio

ART & ARC is a German interior design studio with a conceptual approach, specialising in architectural spaces shaped by craftsmanship, material authenticity and responsible design.

The challenge was to create a premium brand identity that communicated luxury without excess and sustainability without resorting to generic environmental language. The brand also needed to bridge the gap between European architectural heritage and contemporary spatial technology.

I developed a complete identity system centred on quiet architectural luxury. The visual language combines a restrained proprietary logo and typography in the styles of Playfair Display and Inter, warm stone and wood tones, thin blueprint-inspired lines, and editorial layouts based on asymmetry, proportion, and generous negative space.

The website was designed as an immersive digital portfolio rather than a conventional service website. It uses large-scale typography, bilingual English/German content, structured project narratives, material-led photography and a strict architectural grid to guide users through the studio’s philosophy and work.

The identity was extended to include business cards, stationery, presentation materials and technical documentation. Tactile paper stocks, blind debossing, bronze foil and uncoated finishes bring the brand’s focus on craftsmanship and material longevity to life through physical touchpoints.

The result is a refined and flexible brand system that establishes ART & ARC as a contemporary design practice with a tradition-based, technically precise, long-term approach.

Key insight:
